Woke up a bit early as I wanted to try to get a timelapse set of pictures of the sunrise. Bit of a waste of time however as clouds kinda ruined the sunrise. Either way I was up and packed and went to get some breakfast. Sat on the house's main deck and munched away and sipped another great cappichino. Today....I'm off to the Lakes Entrance according to me agenda. Whilst sitting at the cafe enjoying me flat white I was looking at the map and there is no way I flew almost 8000 miles and was not going to get to Phillip Island. For those not in the know its an island south east of Melbourne. You can go there at sunset and watch penquins returning to feed their kids. Its called march of the penguins...happens every day like clockwork. Thats cool.....but......

The hotel I am in is pretty cool. Like an island of tranquility complete with apple trees...full of apples, and some kind of huge shrub with purple flowers. Made for a great sleep...again....did the pool of drool thing. A good sign...I suspect. So hopped outta the sack....did the usual and was good to go again in about 20 mins...showered and packed the works. Only problem is the weather. As I was loading up drops of rain were hitting me....but it was broken...

Soooo again....another great sleep. Holidays must be good for a person. Forced myself to get up and I cracked the screen door to get some fresh air in. I heard bird calls I have never heard before...sounded like I was in a serious jungle. Too freakin cool.  So once I was all sorted..I wandered to the back of the hotel to check the field.....sure enough the field was full of roos.....just munching away. Then a couple stood up tall and started to duke it out...

Warning I have discovered how good apple cider is here.....so as I write me drivel...my eyes seem to be crossed.....and take no responsibility for what I ramble on about....So again I had a great sleep.....and awoke in a bit of a puddle of drool. Feel bad for the clean up crew. I was hosed off and packed up in about 20 mins. Sad thing is that its cloudy and that it may rain. Hate days like that....never know if to put on rain gear or not.
