As you head to Copenhagen from the west, you have to cross the Great Belt Bridge (Danish: Storebæltsforbindelsen - try saying that after a few pints of Carlsberg). Its also know as the East Bridge (Danish: Østbroen). In fact one of the sentimental reasons for this road trip was the very crossing of these masterpieces in engineering in conjunction with their association with fictional, flawed, Scandinavian detectives who are permanently embroiled in bizarre psychological murder cases. The more I see of the Danes, their country, its highlights and the peoples' liberal and civilised nature and their ambivalence to religion, the more I like them.
