The tenure on the flat, rented by our friends for a brief period, is coming to a close and I stood by the third floor window for the final time. Opposite (in the background) is Paddington recreation ground, a municiple facility which suprisingly provided training facilities for Roger Bannister before he broke the four minute mile. The ground was also where Bradley Wiggins learned to ride a bike as a child.
