We were up early and headed in Hammersmith to watch the women's rowing eights head race on the Thames, which included two family members, representing Warwick University. We parked up and being close to this cafe, we had breakfast, at least I did, having a cheese omelette with baked beans, toast, hash browns and a large latte. I would describe it as "very good". As it happened, on the next table was the celebrity comedian John Bishop. To be honest, one drawback of the Metropolis is the tendency to find oneself alongside some celebrity or other, with other punters wanting to look at them and wonder what they are like in real life. Its a strange world.
