The English language lacks words sometimes. The book "The Meaning of Liff" attempted to fill the gap somewhat by using place names for those missing adjectives. A couple of examples I remember are "Grimsby" which was deemed a good description for one of those unpleasant bits of gristle one chances upon whilst eating a steak and kidney pie from a chip shop. Another was "Budby" in reference to a female nipple which becomes visible under a tight T shirt or similar top. Anyway, Callum's vaguely embarrassed grin is because the person he was just talking about in slightly disparaging terms suddenly appeared in the same restaurant as us and sat, incredibly, as near to Callum as she possibly could, clearly without being conscious of his presence (she's the blond on his left shoulder). His expression is, perhaps, one referred to as a "Sheepleton".
