15 June 2014 - Alleyway, Leon, with Graffiti
Even Olde Worlde alleys in historic towns don’t escape graffiti, but I must say that even when considering my poor command of Spanish, their graffiti seems to carry a higher degree of political conviction versus the drivel you get in England which concentrates on what characters like "Mad Jeff" are going to do to some gang defined by their postcode. In the higher grade Spanish graffiti, key words like Fascista a Junta crop up a lot, which is encouraging (unless you are the Fascist Junta, that is). In fairness, it has to be said that in England, Fascists Junta type groups tend to get short shrift in that we usually to laugh at them until they get very embarrassed and go into hiding.
