Melanie (Heidi) & Vincent are in the region for a holiday and we are lucky enough to be invited to their family cabin high in the hills of the Savoie region. WOW,WOW,WOW is all I can say to describe this mornings ride, we rode up hills and cruised back down with mighty mountains to our left and right. We were cycling through the mountains although there was still a few descent climbs for us. I got the biggest thrill and it really felt like an achievement to conquer some of these. Abertville was our lunch stop today as our planned ride was 82km's a big ask through the mountains and the longest of rides to date – talk about not choosing an easy day for a long ride!!!
