Hey Aimee, Sounds like you are having fun. We saw the rain on the news and thought it might catch you! Cam and Stu both requested the latest episode of WILD Australia (Oceans) after they heard of your adventures. They were looking at Aquariums on Saturday. You know how we are about pets so thought we would start with fish!
"Lake Mackenzie which was rally beautiful " is this the Swan ability to spell or are you going OZ on us 'mate'.
So jealous about the Bundy Distillery, but I am glad you tried it. Cava is from Fiji, I always wanted to try it, I think Lu would like the cocktail.
Keep enjoying yourself oh and try the crayfish in Cairns (some shops let you taste for free!) it's amazing and like you I'm not so keen on fish. Oh and Reef Trout is like meat its amazing too. Love Dadx

Hollo Aimee--Glad you got to Oz safe and sound. Fab about your good fortune on the flight. As they say arrive refreshed. Just got back on the other night ,we had a good holiday the weather was great , to warm for me but Grandad thived on it.We had a fab hotel and the food was amazing.Bumped into some old friends in the street, it is a small world. Spoke to Cameron tonight he said he was missing you. He was quite funny on the phone he didn't want to put it down ,he was in a talkative mood tonight, but Stuart had fallen asleep on the way home from school and had just wakened so all he kept saying was love you , and tell Vovo to pockell his wakell. Then he would laugh. hope you have a great time in Oz and just you enjoy it all as it comes. Look after yourself .Love Nanny XXXX

It's funny that we've been suffering from drought conditions for years until you all come over - maybe you should visit more often! hee hee!

Aimee great to hear from you and what a result re the flight! Hannah is so jealous she always wants to know why we aren't sitting in the leather chairs at the front ha ha! What a shame about the weather it did the same to us when we landed - honestly we don't travel half way round the world for more rain! It will get better and warmer as you travel towards Cairns - wishing we were there with you, you'll be wondering soon why you didn't go to Oz sooner! love you Mum x

Hi - re the lactose intolerance - I used to do that in India with regards the tea - it worked so much easier and people didn't feel personally insulted. Sounds like your still having a great time. Love to all. Gerard

Hi to everyone x Thanks for all the messages, glad you like the photo's :) Having a wicked time here, so much still to see and do. Very much enjoyed the Rodin exhibition at Pinacoteca, I saw some of his work previously at the V&A - it does just capture your attention so fully :) The farm of course did that as well, so much to see - was brilliant!!
Missing lots of home, but having fun none the less. Keep posting messages and emailing so I know how things are at home :) Love to all xxx

Loved your photos of the Rodin's work. It is a wonderful museum, and I'm so glad you got the chance to see it. Rodin is particularly special. If you get the chance you must go to his house in Paris Aimee. You are taken through each phase of his work and and how he developed from one medium to another it is totaly facinating. If i ever go back to Paris that will be revisited, top of the list. His work is facinating. Hope you had a lovely time at the farm , it is lovely and peaceful, a beautiful change of inviroment from the city. You enjoy. All my Love NANNY XXXXXXXX

Hi loved the look of the Pinacoteca architecture and Luz park, the trees were amazing and the shades of green! I love Rodin's work it just rivets your attention. I also like the seated over sized male statue towards the end - what were the white lines on him, sunlight or actual markings done by the sculptor? Would have enjoyed visiting this with you! love Mum x
PS it's Nannies birthday today if you send her a msg I know she'll be thrilled x
