Jess says "hello!" - she's not actually sitting here next me, but you get the message. Been crazy-hot here (p.s. I don't do well in heat...I melt, much like the misunderstood "wicked" witch) but other than that things are pretty much the same here. I'm saying "hi!" for the gang here at B&N - I'll assume you say the same thing back. If not, don't tell me 'cuz it'll be an awkward thing to retract.

Great description of driving. During the World Cup did you notice drivers with tvs on in their cars while driving? Hope you are making lots of friends and eating great (non manteca) food.

We loved your first post card. Glad to hear you arrived safely. By the time you get done down there you should be able to understand what all the waitesses and cab drivers say.
