Well, our run at the Gilmartin household has been fun. We got visits from ducks, geese and squirrels, who were all very eager to share in our food. The squirrels didn't want to wait for the humans to feed us, so they broke into the grill (where the silly humans thought they could hide the food from the squirrels) and ate right through the platic container holding our nightly scratch. Bold little b*****s. They didn't eat too much, we still managed to put on a few ounces while visiting Orchard Park. Vacation pounds, right?

Now I hear we are off to Lake View, NY. We said fairwell to the back yard friends, and to the humans we had stayed with while we were in Orchard Park. The two youngest humans seemed to really want us to stay. Well, hopefully they still have some of the eggs we left them to remember us by, and who knows, maybe we will be back again some day.
