We went out sailing on Boomerang in the Whitsundays for 2 nights, and both me and nat agree its the best thing we've done so far on our trip (which bobby was very pleased to hear!!). It was so much fun we got some wind so were able to do a good bit of sailing, and in the evenings we moored up in calmer waters. We saw many things we've never seen before....a sky FULL of stars and shooting stars whilst lying on the deck at night, Whitehaven beach which is just an amazing place as you can see from the photos, many turtles and dolphins which followed the boat. Luckily our boat had a lot of english people on board mainly our age so in the evening it made a great atmosphere for chatting and drinking!

Time flew far too quickly on our boat, and we could have quite happily spent a good few more days sailing, snorkelling, having on board bbqs, and sleeping in our tiny double bed!!! We got back into Airlie beach after the trip and had to spend all day hanging around until our midnight greyhound bus, but luckily we had drinks and dinner with the people from our boat that evening speeding things up! We got on the bus at midnight absolutely shattered!!!
