Hey Shes, Have been reading your latest adventures with much hilarity. And I am not remotely jealous you are now in Fiji. Never wanted to go there myself. Have heard it's a real dump... We are having a mini heatwave here in Brighton. The wolrd and his wife was out today on the seafront, so I am fear of what the actual summer holds. Ok, I'm still in Auckland!!!!!! The flight was overbooked and they were offering hotel, dinner, breakfast and $600 cash to postpone until the 1100 flight tomorrow morning. Go on then, twist my arm. Third time lucky!!! Sherry xx

Have a great time in Fiji - one of my favourite places in the world - at least the outer islands are.....

Four postcards added whilst sat at the airport!! Eventually flew out at 1515 and arrived in Auckland about 1730. Staying here tonight as I now can't fly to Fiji until 1900 tomorrow evening, which won't get me in there until about 2200! Oh well, at least I made it out of Queenstown. Bryan - finally found a Pinky at the airport as well, so had to try it - yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! S xx

Just to let you know that I am stranded at Queentown airport and have been here for about 4 hours already!! The cloud is too low for planes to land. Apparently this is a VFR Visual Flight Runway and cannot be landed on with just radar etc - you have to be able to see the runway as the mountains are so close on both sides. I have been rebooked to leave at 1500, but only if the weather clears and at the moment I will have to stay in Auckland overnight and fly to Fiji tomorrow night!! I'll keep you updated! S xx
