Whilst over in NZ, I took a short 3 day break to visit Amy & Stephen in Sydney. What a great sight to see Amy waiting for us at the airport, had missed her so much! We went straight back to her apartment and got some lunch. We then headed to Sydney centre point and boarded a cruise ship around the harbour to catch the sights. How many pictures can you take of the Opera House...? We then went to Darling Harbour and had cocktails. Heading back to Amy's apar...

Just over two weeks in New Zealand visiting Rachel whilst she was living over there. Mainly in Auckland. We travelled in our 'Beaut' that we had hired down South, stopping in various towns on the way. Mainly stopping in Taupo for ice cream, shopping etc... We stayed over night in Rotorua, visiting the Polynesian Spa, Rainbow Springs (animal centre). We then went to the mud pools and lady Knox Geiyser. A brief stop in Singapore en route to Auckland. Need to go back to this place to explore a bit more...!

We flew into and out of Bucharest for our trip to Bulgaria. Testing the water to see if it was quicker to fly into Romania and travel to Val's from there, but... It wasn't! Took approximately 7-8hrs.. BORE. Don't think we'll be doing that again. Romania was very old fashioned looking. A lot of shack style houses, cows tied up outside the house, men riding around in carriages by horse. A bit of a dump, but maybe I didn't see the best side of it.

A day trip here with the family. Lovely place, great beaches and we were fortunate enough to have great weather!
