Experience the best of Niagara Falls' US side with this sightseeing bus tour and kayaking adventure package. Start with a four-hour sightseeing coach tour to discover the American side’s main sights. Your tour begins with hotel pickup, and in addition to a fully narrated tour by coach it also includes a ride on the famous Maid of the Mist gorge cruise and admission to the Prospect Point Observation Tower for spectacular views of the falls.
You'll get up close to the mighty falls on the Maid of the Mist and then explore the Cave of the Winds Boardwalk, situated right at the base of Bridal Veil Falls. Plus, visit Niagara Falls State Park, Three Sister Islands, Whirlpool State Park and more!
Part two of your experience allows you to soak in the natural beauty of the Niagara Falls area on a fully guided, 2.5-hour kayaking tour. Your tour departs from Grand Island, New York, where you will be surrounded by the impressive Niagara River, which splits into two sections at the south end of the island and rejoins at the northwest end, before flowing west to Niagara Falls.
Hop in your single or tandem kayak and let your guide lead you along a moderately easy route that includes many picturesque sights. Paddle past the famous River Lea Farmhouse, an 1849 Victorian farmhouse once owned by President Grover Cleveland's uncle, who hired Cleveland to work on the farm -- the future president's first job. Continue on to Motor Island, designated as a New York State wildlife habitat. Keep your camera close because here you are likely to spot spectacular great black cormorants, black birds with gracefully long wingspans, in nests perched in the tops of trees. From there, head to Strawberry Island to explore a small, tranquil lagoon.
