Mr Warren
Hey you guys. Sorry for leaving the wool shed in a rush withouit saying good bye. Had a massive panic. Thought someone had stole a grand out me bank. But dont worry, all is ok now. Soooooo, basically i think u should check my journal. You will see an article after january 9th that talks about the town of 1770. I think it was Vicky who bet that i had not written anything after this point, sooooo i will be waiting in the YHA hostel for my winnings, whenever you can bring it, lol. Also, would appreciate it if you could bring me some water in the morning too, as my mouth feels like a sand pit... ohhhhhh and also a double quarter pounder with cheese meal from maccies if your passing by, on the way. That is all. Now dont forget to keep up to date with your journals.
Dear Toria
If you have any psychological problems you don't have to look too far to find the source- you guessed it - Craig.
Keep smiling !! I hate camping!!

Hi Victoria, I hope you are enjoying your camping on the Island. It must be the perfect place to work out any psychological problems you may have at this time.

Whilst u r sunbathing, drinking and generally enjoying life , please ponder the following which Uncle Rob found at some point recently -it may lead to some philosophical discussion or another drinking session !!! Auntie Jue.
:- Love him or hate him, he sure hits the nail on the head with this! To anyone with kids of any age, here’s some advice. Bill Gates recently gave a speech at a High School about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world. Rule 1: Life is not fair - get used to it! Rule 2 : The world won’t care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself. Rule 3 : You will NOT make $60,000 (about £30,000) a year right out of high school. You won’t be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both. Rule 4: If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss. Rule 5: Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping: they called it opportunity. Rule 6: If you mess up, it’s not your parents’ fault, so don’t whine about your mistakes, learn from them. Rule 7: Before you were born, your parents weren’t as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent’s generation, try delousing the closet in your own room. Rule 8 : Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades and they’ll give you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer. This doesn’t bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life. Rule 9: Life is not divided into semesters. You don’t get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that on your own time. Rule 10: Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs. Rule 11: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you’ll end up working for one. If you agree, pass it on. If you can read this - thank a teacher! If you are reading it in English Thank a soldier!

hello tor, long time no speak, sorry havn't bin in touch, jus think we've both been very busy of late. Don't even know if i've said happy new year. Happy New Year!! Hope your well, sounds like your having the bestest time out there. Missing you loads! Not too long now till i see you tho, 5 and a half months down, about 5 to go!! i think..I've had a stressful first week back, almost left after a couple of days, but decided to stick it out and im having fun again and enjoying it which is good. Miss everyone more than last time i left tho, prob doesn't help that piers ain't here anymore. Thanks for the xmas presents etc, well done. However, a couple of nights before we left, me and about 10 of my mates went and watched your copy of Happy Feet at jamies. The quality was ok but with about 10 minutes to go it skipped to the credits, i got a lot of stick and blamed it on you. Teaches one not to watch pirate copies i spose.Anyways, just wanted to catch up. You don't need to reply, i know what your up to.loads of loveBro xxxx

Thanks for the advice hun but all already booked up! Seriously I dont know quite how Im funding it but thats what credit cards are for. Cheeky Monkeys is awesome. Far too many nights there. Im Ill now so cinema tonight. First night off in ages! Feel the need for R&R.
Leave Byron on Tuesday for Surfers Paradise, Brisbane then Noosa. Doing Fraser Island self drive then Maxi yacht also for Whitsundays. Magnetic Island, Mission beach (white-water rafting) then up to Cairns. Fly to Melbourne on 11th Feb. Gonna be a crazy month! Cant wait! Not sure if my body will cope tho! Miss u lots. Hope exams dont suck too much. Cant believe they closed the old peacock!! xx
Sal
Haha! If you've bin dancing on tables you must've bin to Cheeky Monkeys right??
As for other suggestions I'm sure there's not much you can miss on the tourist trail up east coast but you have to go off-roading on Fraser Island cos you'll be old enough to drive which I wasn't when I was there! plus make sure you stop at Airlie Beach and do a trip of the Whitsundays - they're beautiful! (did mine on a maxi yacht with Koalas but there's a million companies u can go with) I also stopped at Mission Beach for a night which is just south of Cairns, there's nothing really there but that's half the point, plus as there's aren't actually any natural beaches in Cairns it's nice to feel proper sand between ure toes! there's also a skydiving company there who land you on the beach which must be awesome if ure after a bit more excitment (tho I did mine in Cairns) and the hostel I stayed at was actually being run by a couple from Guernsey at the time - bizarre!
Right, that's my lot of sounding like a holiday rep for now! Sooo jealous of u hun - wish I was back out there instead of stuck in miserable Notts up to my eyes in revision! Miss you! x x x x x
Dear Toria
Glad you have updated the photos- it is great to peruse them. Wish I was your age again - no I don't really.
Did one mad thing and that was to brave the bathing pools for a Christmas swim! Couldn't chicken out once there and i actually stayed in for about 4 minutes./Unfortunately looks set to be a permanent fixture in our annual Christmas celebrations according to Uncle Rob - ! No news from here at the moment. Lindz singing at some do tonite at Ladies so we will go to that. Party tomorrow which I am looking forward to. Windy and cold so soak up some Aussie sunshine. Managed to buy Ross a drink when I met him in the Rockmount too. Matt off skiing to Val D'Isere at Feb half term. I am praying he does not break a leg or do anthing daft. 8 of them are going.
