We never intended to rest up here at Rissbach (near Traben-Trarbach) but we broke a 5th spoke yesterday morning. Sorry Peter and Jim, but it was the Moselle we were headed for not the Saar. Ten years ago I brought Donna here on her first ever cycle tour (unladen bike, I carried everything and stopping in hotels not camping). Donna loved it and now we're back travelling much heavier and for much longer.
