From Lorne we stayed 1 night at Princetown to see the 12 Apostles. We were located on the local sports oval. We were the only ones there and awoke to find kangaroos grazing next to the van. The 12 Apostles were amazing. A surfie guy we met at a look out, suggested some spots to visit which were away from all the tourists. We took his advice and went exploring. It was well worth the effort. Although, it freaked me out we were right near the cliffs..

Our first stop was Lorne, to ease us into our trip and get the kids in the rhythm of doing school on the road. We camped on the Lorne Foreshore. We were 20 steps from the beach. Although quite chilly the sun was out for most of our stay. Except for 2 days where the steady downpour highlighted the need for a rain coat inside the van.
