Hi Tom, this is Lizzie's Mum writing from a very wet, cold and chilly London office. I met your Dad on the train at Tottenham Hale this week and we had a good catch up on all your travel plans & news. He gave me your site address, so I thought I'd say hello 2 u. I've just read your postcards and they've reminded me just how great and warm Sydney is : ) Lizzie's cousin Victoria is living there at the moment, doing much the same as you, travelling & working her way around the world, so you never know, you might bump into her on one of your (infrequent!!!!!!!!!!) visits to the beaches/bars. She's there over Xmas if you want a bit of a familiar face over the ho ho ho season?
Talking of Christmas, someone once told me that there's always a carols by candle light event in the park near the Opera House, which seems bizarre as it must be pretty warm there now in the evenings. I've always wondered why the candles don't melt, so if you get to go, let me know!

We are fine - Barrie is so good, we are fitting in a short trip to Cologne this weekend and Paris next!
We are hoping he won't need more treatment till after Christmas and after Jo's baby is born. (Ben thinks it's a girl!)
Nick & Kate are in Schwyz for a week, the snow is just starting. Steph & Simon are in Venice for their anniversary.
It's FREEZING here, but lovely and sunny.

Well i finally got round to having a look at your website, and i know you must be getting bored of people saying this but it really does look amazing and i'm so jealous that i didn't have the guts to do the same. Never-the-less, uni is absolutely fantastic - plenty of socialising. clubbing, playing tennis...oh and a bit of work!! The only thing is that it rains all the time down here! I went home this weekend and it felt very strange - i even went to see hannah at freman, and i couldn't believe how grown up i felt. I'm definitely going to make sure that i check your site more often now! Enjoy every minute of it, Charlotte xxx
