Hi, We've just got back from the Perhentian Islands, which were pretty amazing. We were only on the tiny 'Small Island', staying in a hut with generator power at night only, and there was quite a lot of local wildlife wandering around to contend with (spiders as big as your hand, monitor lizards as big as your leg, etc) but we had a great time. We did some suntanning/burning and some paddling around in the swimming pool clear shallows with the little fishes which was very cool. We even put a lifejacket on Sarah, and went off on a snorkelling trip on our last day where we swam with sea turtles and a couple of sharks! Off to Kuala Lumpur on the night bus tonight...
