Hiya!

Currently in Santiago at the moment amd our first impressions are really good! We flew in over the ice capped Andes and landed into this lovely city! The weather is great and there are picturesque parks scattered throughout the city.

On Thursday 14th we went off with 13 others in a minibus to do a week tour of the Lake District in the Southern part of Chile. We climbed glaciers, and live volcanoes (Villarrica - but we only got half way up due to very bad snow and ice storms), horseriding, wine tasting, relaxing in hot springs and visiting the local tribe groups in the small villages in the mouth of the moutains at Pucon.

Off now to sample the local wine and pisco (the national drink - similar to brandy!). Much love xxxxxxx.
