Hi Tom & Anna - loved the photos, especially the Ninja Turtle in Toys'r'us (our favourite shop ;). Grandpa is here with us today, unfortunately Uncle Jack is at home with Tonsilitus. Sorry you missed my Star Wars birthday party, we had a great time - lots of new Star Wars figures to play with. We're alright here, Mum and Dad send their love. Hi you two, hope you are having a great time. Terrible news about yesterday, eveyone OK that we know. Apparantly HMV shut up shop about 3pm but there were no trains running from Charing X so Emily and someone from work got a boat up to Greenwich - not sure how they got home from there. Dad OK as he had his car. In fact the shop was very busy!! I don't think people quite knew what to do if their shops/offices were shut and they couldn't get out of London until the mainline trains were running again. I suppose the obvious thing is to go and have your eyes tested - bizarre!! Where are you going after Washington? Will contact you again soon. LOL MUMF

Hey guys..i spent so long trying to ring people from home yesterday trying to find out how everyone was.all the phones were down and i was so worried..hope everyone is ok?....sounds terrible..those b******s. Its devasting....its strange being away and hearing about such horrible things happening to the homeland.

Not chatted to you in along time. Hope your having a great time in NYC. Im looking to go there in Novemeber and by the sounds of things i will have a fantastic time. Shocking news about London, no doubt to do with the fact that the g8 summit was taking place. On a high note London got the Olympics which is cool. No doubt you will see the old breem machine get three golds then hehe. Anyways guys take care and have a fantastic willy fog around the world in 80 days style trip. This is such a blow after the awesome news that we won the olympics! I hope they kick out all thos hate mongering idiots now, this is what happens when we allow such idiots to get away with such behaviour for way too long.

Hi...ok...well since I wrote a few hours ago it has all kicked off in London. I don't know if you have heard the news but there has been 9 explosions in the City - right where I work. All of the tube and train stations have been closed. I am stuck in my building until futher notice, with the police saying we can't leave. The mobile phone networks are all down and I am literally stranded here. They say it is a coordinated attack. It is pandamonium and really very scary here at the moment. I have just looked up my route home as I will have to walk and it is 12.7 miles. Everyone is just sitting around looking worried. I will leave another message when I know things are ok. After the news of winning the Olympic Games here in 2012 yesterday this has really freaked people out....please, please take care of each other xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Miss you xxxxxxxx

Hello!!!!! I can't believe that it is a week ago that you left :( how strange....I hope you are having an amazing time. We all miss you though.... I did sit down with Jack and your Dad last night Tom, but for some reason couldn't access any of the menus on this site...could only see the itinary?? We were wondering whether it was because you were updating the site at the time or Jack thought it was because we were accessing it through a mac?? not sure...but I have been instructed to leave a message saying that your Dad and Jack have tried to get on and they can't wait to see the photos and that they miss you guys loads.

Hello kids!! Am just round at the rents after going to greenwich having a billion squids worth of software put on my computer....nice one! Hope you are having a wicked time, i text you on your birthday anna but not sure if you have got it as not sure whether your mobile is working. Anyway happy birthday for Monday!!
