Ahh just lost the message I wrote - Damn these portuguese keyboards!! So I´ve been a busy boy and not really had much chance to study POrtuguese - which has been a bit difficult as it means I don´t get so much out of the days - but I´ve seen lots of weird & weonderful diseases this week - which is really interesting/sad. I´ll write in more detail soon. But needless to day - I´ve had my 1st hangover today... they´re just as rubbish here - plus the dehydration!!! Thanks for the messages - keep them rolling in, I may have sorted it so that i study tropical medicine as well!!! Hi Tommy, Wow...what a start to your trip! Just glad you got there (relatively) safely and who'd have thought you'd get an ensuite after all the commotion you first caused!! Must be amazing to finally be there and sounds like you working with a good bunch of docs, even if they are dragging you in at the weekends - hope that trend wont continue. dearest thomas - i thought you'd want to know about the england football team playing spain on wednesday. bcause of the racism thing a couple of years ago england are fielding their very first all black/mixed race team. i expect a 4-0 victory. nick would also like me to tell you he scored another goal of the left footed variety 2day. i think we'd both agree he is easily the best footballer in the family. andy b xx

just been down to the cottage it was great, all the spring flowers out and warm! Went to Kath and Bills and watch the Rugby on their huge telly and the boys got drunk and drove home - no change there then. Got your text and forwarded to Jane and Andy and phoned Lisa to offer congrats. Looking forward to hearing where exactly you'll be. I'm printing out your journals so I can take them to Grannie. We're taking here to hospital tomorrow to have here rodent ulcer removed, hopefully she'll take it as well as the biopsy, it isn't too big, dad dignosed it early.
