hi Lindz, Nath, good to hear you're surviving, watch out for those surfing wallabies and you'll be fine. Long e mail to follow, possibly today. Lots to tell you especially about Rachel interrupting me during my drunken karaoke performance, ,and Katie learning some choice Rugby League phrases.
Take care, xmas pressie safely deposited with Papa.
love,
Philip, Sarah and Katie.

Hi guys!! I aint spoke to you in ages and i just read the 3 jounels i didnt read and it took me a whole hour!! They are good reading though and they do cheer me up all though i doubt you are laughing when your car breaks down haha!
Me and Scott had a great holiday, not as great as aussy but for our first holiday together it was great, we visited loads of places in Devon and did lots of shopping. You two would of pissed yoursels laughing at Scott, we had the tail end of a big storm while we was down there and we thought we would take a look at the sea, well what a big mistake for us but such a laugh!! While Scott was taking pictures of the big waves crashing up the wall, one come up straight behind him and he got drenched!! I couldn't do anything but laugh, i laughed that much i nearly wet myself!! You would of loved it! All though Scott wasn't laughing i thought i would give you something to laugh about seems your having a few bad days out there.
Anyway we are both well and from your journel i glad you two are also well! We keep talking about coming out to visit but i dont think we will make it :~( which saddens me very much! Scott can put it on his credit card but he will be visting on his own, so thats a bummer but we will see you in June! Anyway i will stop writing now because it is getting long just like your journels!!!
Keep your chin up and all though you keep breaking down you know it is something to laugh about when ou get back! Have fun and see you soon
Love from us both xxxxxxxxxx
Kerry
Hello :)
Glad to hear you guys are okay. New you would like Surfers, sorry forgot to mention the waves and the problems they can cause hehehe my uncle lost his teeth when he came over to aussie quite a while ago now. And im sure we all guess what you mean happened to you from your description lol. Dont worry it happened to me aswell a number of years ago now.
At least now your seeing both sides of the world. Like you say its totally a different lifestyle and there are some amazing things to see but you also have to put up with the creeply crawlies, the weather and the miles and miles to get anywhere. But its worth it as i'm sure you will agree.
Oh and Cape Byron is the most easterly point of Aussie - to confirm! Been there once, nice place.
If you ever get to Adelaide let me know, i've got a friend there, possible work if need be? will have to get in touch with her.
Will send an email soon and Merry Xmas and happy new year (new year is pretty big over there by the way!) if i dont get chance to say closer to the time.
Take care and i hope you have plenty of great times to come
Still jealous lol you're doing more than i ever did!

Hello Lindsay & Nathan
Sorry it has been some time since my last message, time just flies by and I never seem to have any spare time.
We have been busy at work and at home, we have allmost been in our new house a year now. We have done lots to it and it is looking really nice.
All your journals have been very interesting, you really are having a wonderful time. It is something you will remember all your lives no matter what else happens.
We had a lovely time in Austria, did alot of walking high up in the mountains. The scenery was absolutely stunning. The hotel was very nice -up in the mountains -with full spa facilities and excellent food. It all seems like along time ago now, I am ready for another holiday. We have to wait until January for that when we go to Mauritius for two weeks, really looking forward to some sunshine.
We have had some lovely Autumn days this year (but it's raining today), lovely sunny days and because we have had such a dry summer the colours of the trees are beautiful.
Had a day off work last Wednesday and had a day in Lincoln with your Mum, We had a nice day together. I bought a suit - very smart! I am going to Garry's (my nephew) wedding in Scotland next week so I needed something to wear! Also bought a couple of summer things in the sale to put away for my holidays.
All the shops here are getting ready for Christmas, it's crazy starting this early I will be fed-up with it by the time it's here. We are staying at home this year, but there is plenty of activity going on to help us celebrate.
The wedding plans are almost complete now, just odd things to do in the New Year. Once Christmas is over it will be here before we know it.
Well think that's about all this time, sorry again for the delay in sending you a message,
Always thinking of you.
Enjoy yourselves
Lots of love

Linz, suitably chastened by your oblique reference to me in the last posting, I have this morning composed a lengthy e mail. However my fat fingers managed to delete it , twice!! Not happy. Anyway please let me know if you got it on my third attempt. If not I have it saved on Word. It is entirely possible that you may have received several versions of the same message
love,
Philip
Lisa
Hello you two!
A great read as always, shame to hear you've had a couple of jobs that didn't work out but really it's all just part of the working holiday experience - Lins I'm sure you remember all my tales of my horrific waitressing experience in Sussex!!
Surfers is a fab place, some great bars and awesome beaches. Word of warning that if you're still there in early November the place gets PACKED with 17 and 18 yr olds (I should know, I was one of them 4 years ago!!!!) as final exams finish and 'Schoolies Week' begins.
Anyway, enjoy the next leg of your travels and can't wait to hear more about your exciting adventures!!!
Lots of love, Lis xx
P.S. At this rate you will be in Sydney even before Andrew will - he might not be home til December now :( That Castle College!!
