Dining with Bill Clintion and sleeping with ants! Ok so Clinton didn't dine with Bill Clinton but as a last night treat from Tony and Lenore they took us to a very exclusive (Bill Clinton has eaten there!) Seafood restaurant on the water front in Port Douglas, we finally got to wear our glad rags. I'm not going to say too much except amazing food and good company, oh and dad get your wallet ready, this will be what i want as birthday treat in March in Sydney...

Well with just a few days before we hit the open road again we thought we'd keep you up dated on our going ons here in Queensland. So here we are in far north queensland and thought we'd update you with our travels continuing from Sydney wehere we left off.... Best buys so far for us have to be the expensive travel towels from blacks (walking shop in the UK)...they seriously work and take up the slightest of room, washbags with hooks-perfect for running to shower rooms and finding things easily, oh and a universal sink plug. No worse buys yet altho i suspect i will have a fair few it...

So here we are in Sydney, luckily today it was warm, but when we arrived yesterday it was raining and freezing-for a second i thought we'd arrived back in England. What a shock going from 30 degrees in Hong Kong-i think the tan we had achieved disappeared in an instant!!
