This was one of the biggest adrenaline rushes while in Malta. After convincing myself of having to get into the water and seeing Derek jump off, I began running towards the edge. Right as I jumped I thought, "hm this isn't very smart. I can see the rocks at the bottom and there is a cave right beside where I'm jumping into that I could get washed into. I wonder..." before I could complete my thought I had landed in the saltiest water imaginable and was being washed out to sea where there were more reachable rocks to pull myself out of the water. You can't really see anything but my head and arm here, but it's evidence enough that I jumped in.
