So, i am finally here!! One thing that i didnt realise was how easy it is to make friends when you are away by yourself. Just sit down and people come and talk to you!! One thing i cant get over is just how cheap everything is. You can get anything, anywhere for pennies. I am staying next to the famous khao san road. It is a fantastic place to be but slightly daunting!! As long as you keep your head about you then you are ok!! keep it real, out.

So the final countdown has begun!! It has taken me almost a year to decide to get myself into action and actually use my gap year for something other than work and drinking XXXX! At the time of writing it is a mere 9 days until i am bangkok bound and the trip begins. Looking at Newcastles own "Harbour Bridge" i cant wait to see the real thing. Sydney here i come.
