Hey guys it has been a while since i updated the blog so there is loads to tell. Since leving Cairns we went up to Cape Tribulation and Port Douglas which was wicked. Dec and I went sea keyaking at dawn see photo above and it was worth the early morning wake up!
Next stop after a few remote camping experiences in our campervan by deserted beaches with cold beers we found ourselvesin Airlei beach party capital of the east coast. was a few dasy ago now so is a bit of a bl;ur especially after consuming several boxesof goon wine. We all went on a twoday one night sailing tour of the Whitesunday islands which was imense and whitehaven beach was lush. Saw a massive 2m in diameter stingray swim right underme when we were snorkling. Had a great group aswell on the boat and a awesome night on the boat though I don't remember going to bed and memory loss was again my just reward for consuming the goon! How plank managed tofit in the bunks which were about a meter long and 10cm wide i don't know! great trip though.
We are now in Hervey Bay, actually just about to leave and have just got back from the most awsome 4x4 camping adventure on Fraser Island. 11 of us, me 5 irish and 5 germans with one big 3 tonne truck and 5 tents and loads of sandy tracks to drive and Dingos to avoid. ?Had such an awesome time and it has been the highlight of Australia I think so far. Swam in Lake McKenzie (?spelling) and lake Woggie. the pictures don't do it justice. Also found these rock pools called the champagne pools which are Tiger shark free and can be swum in. When i get to a faster internet connection I will put some videos on of them.
We got back yesterday whcih was my bruithday and promptly had a mad night out with all but one of the germans (she was a hitler!) in a club called Morroco's which was s*** but after several yager bombs the night was wicked. We leave today and 6 days to get to sydney and we are only halfway down! We flyto Singapore via Perth on 23rd and the homeward trips starts.
