on the shotover river grade 3/4 rapids. The cliff edge drive up-river along skippers canyon (one of the many Lord of the Rings Backdrops) was the most dangerous part of this trip! Rental cars are not allowed on this road and the bus driver had to take one corner with the front wheel off the edge to make the bend in a long vehicle.
