Really good day. We went to Lapa and got on a tram into Santa Tereza. We however stayed on the tram far too long and ended up getting ever closer and passing through loads little areas. Bit of a `boring`day today. After a huge breakfast, earning our money back, we wandered down Copacabana to Ipanema where spent 4 hours laying on the beach in the sun. a tough life but someone has to do it. Met some blokey trying to sell me a football shirt, which was really nice and he was about 19, but then he moved onto trying to sell me weed and some `coca`. Hey there!! crazy here. we arrived after a 17 hour flight, which was overnight so really quiet blah blah blah and after coming out of arivals were bombarded with three women screaming at us to use their taxi service! We chose our taxi and after passing through the favelas, and road users not acually using the road markings and literally pushing other cars and lorries off the road. We caught our bus to Iguasu Falls. A 22 hour mission, although we were in first class bus as this is all we could get, with reclining seats, air conditioning and films. we each managed two seats too ourselves and so had equivalent of a double bed. we travelled about 3,000 kms for just 50 pounds.
