Drove via Rongo to do the first shopping for the day. Namibia also has veterinary checks. We were given 45 minutes. However, at time for departure Bob was missing. He is one of our wise Canadians and has a habit of wandering off whenever the truck stops. Ben & I raced off to find him and failed completely. An early morning as we had a lengthy drive around the delta to cross the border from Botswana to Namibia. We saw many donkeys as we drove although not much in the way of Elephant SUPERHERDS. We went grocery shopping and went through a large veterinary check where an officer opened all the under truck lockers and came onto the truck. We successfully smuggled one tomato between areas of Botswana so any outbreak of fruit fly can be laid at our feet. Lunch was lovely...
