There are certain things you must do when in Chiangmai Mai. One is the Saturday night market the others is the Sunday walking market.Once again they shut down the streets and everyone comes out with their wares.Clothing, lamps ,hats ,purses, food,books, soaps, herbs smoothies, shoes , did I mention food?There are very nice places to sit down and eat and cool down. but if the wind is blowing watch out for falling mangos. we were lucky it fell about 6 ft from us...

We had a busy day today.We have learned to bring in small breakfast snacks to hold us over till street venders open for breakfast here.At cafes where farangs (gringos) whites go the prices are about the same as US prices.But if you go to the local thais street market cafes we paid a total of 70 bhts that comes to about $2.00 for our entire meal.Roy got me a massage :) about $9. for a whole hour. We had the greatest Hostess in Bangkok. They were always so concerned about us.   Tip and Am are amazing drivers. They can weave in and out of Bangkoks traffic like professional drivers on a race track.They took us to the train station and to the train and made sure we got on the right train and the right seat.
