Following on from our initial theft yesterday we did a really good job stealing lots of food from the breakfast buffet, Sally is getting quite good at it.
Our longest ride yet we travelled 55 km (or 35 miles) and saw our first windmill!!! We also saw our first man wearing clogs but we still haven't seen any tulips. We did see hundreds of over sixties cyclists FLYING past us, including 2 on mobility scooters following their wives as they cycled. They are mad here but we love them!!
Saw an eagle or a buzzard but couldn't confirm which. Also saw a field with cows, deer, goats, sheep and a horse and donkeys, all playing with each other.
We arrived at our luxurious hotel at 4pm and headed into the village for a slap up meal followed by a trip to lidl for essentials for tomorrow, including haribo and oranges, and meat! My beard is looking good, ginger and grey and scruffy and Sally has caught the sun on her arms. We head to Retie tomorrow, a small town outside Mol.
Oh and due to our buffet theft this morning we spent 2 euro all day!!!!

Nell + the McGill gang One might comment that it is Sally's Australian heritage that makes her good at stealing, but then one might be accused of bowing to stereotypes! The Dutch are a strange but lovable people. Hope you are wearing some quality padded bike pants with all those kms :) Loving the blog guys! Love from the newest Novacastrians x
