So the big night out, it didn't happen. I was to tired, and Mez still wasn't feeling very well. So an early night was had by all, and the next day we set of to visit "the beach." Firstly we stopped to visit another monkey island, which i'm kinda over. All the monkeys look the same, quite sweet, although they are all as evil as the rest. We had to retreat back into the water to stop them attacking.
Then of to the cliff to do some jumping. Laura didn't wanna jump so stayed on the boat whilst mez, I and the other few on the boat cliffed the cliff to . . . jump off. This was nerve racking to say the least, but definitly got the heart racing. Mez and I only jumped the once. Mez because she REALLY didn't like it, and I because I was to lazy to climb back up the cliff.
Then of snorkling, no sharks though :( but I got to see some other cool stuff, however I wasn't very good at the snorkling. I kept forgetting that I couldn't go all the way under the water like I could diving. Then lunch and of to the place where they filmed "the beach" was cool, but nothing spectacular. Stayed there for a while, then headed back on the boat (very rocky) where we were suppose to watch the sunset. I personnally was looking the other way, as that was where the side of the boat was, as I tried really hard not to lose my lunch.
Back to Phuket the following day, where I personnally did nothing, whilst Mez got a new tattoo, and Laura went of to get henna on her hands and arms. Then for the final night, the three of us went to a ladyboys show. Absolutly worth the first class seats that we purchased, was funny and well worth it. Laura was fasinated by the make-up (she's a make-up artist back home) Mez loved the dresses and outfits that the women? were wearing. I on the other hand was rather mezmorised by their figures, hell I want a figure like that lol.
Kuala Lumpur - Laura has gone home :( and Mez and I planned to spend a couple of days exploring the capital of Malaysia. First day was spent just traveling, and finding the hostel. Which conviently is right next to a MASSIVE shopping centre, where they have lots and lots of shops, a bowling alley, cinema, and a mini theme park, and did i mention, lots and lots of shops. Mez and I lost ourselves in there that day.
Mez hasn't been feeling well for a while, but continuing to still try go out drinking . . . silly billy. And when she woke up, after a long lie, she felt alot worse. So of to the doctors, which is also in the shopping centre. There she was prescribed some medication to take with meals. She never got that meal to try taking them before the pain got 100 times worse and I ran out to get her a taxi to take her to the hospital. Once there, straight on a drip to try hydrate her, and taking blood to try figure out what was wrong with her. She got admitted into that hospital, although she had wanted to go to the private one, but she was totally not up for the journey to the hospital. Two nights she spent in the hospital, whilst I spent my days with her during visiting hours and trying to fit in some site seeing inbetween.
In my spare time, I went to the museum, went to view the twin towers, the TV towers the mosque (didn't go in) and the cathedral (total waste of time). You can go up the TV tower, but i decided that the view up there would be very similar to all the other towers in different big cities that I have been to. You can also get up the twin towers for free, but you have to get there early in the morning to get your ticket for the day. I tried to do it, get up early that is, but when i set the alarm I forgot that the time was still set in Thai time, and not Malaysian time so I got up an hour later than I had planned and missed the issueing of the tickets, oops.
With Mez now out of hospital, we are just updating the facebook status' and getting an early night for another traveling day tomorrow, of to Kota Kinabalu.
