Hope all is well in NZ. Obviously less internet connections as you have been there 3 days and have not sent an update!

Cracking to hear that you like lesser mere mortals miss flights too!! Glad that you've arrived in NZ and no doubt enjoying plenty of heat which is rare here unless you're sitting on top of a radiator or .....anyway! Top start to the 6 nations rugger season with Ireland beating France 30-21 in a top game and England stomping Italy (36-11) who frankly were a mess. Scotland were turgid and, despite glimpses, were rolled over 26-13 without Wales breaking sweat! Here's to next weekend's menu and England v Wales fixture should be more than interesting...p.s. Tony Adams has been sacked by Pompey, Keane sold by Benitez and back to skipper Spurs and Man Utd still top - c'mon you Reds!

Hi Annelise and Nigel
I suppose that part of the experiences will be the contrasts, making it more excting. All I can say is, "Wish I was there".
Love from us.

Hi guys. Great to see you are having a fab time. The helicopter ride looked fab and it looks so warm. Can you send some heat back?!! Looking forward to Friday's update.....when are you off to NZ?
Great to see you before you went off. You were really lucky to leave on Sat. The snow which fell on Sun night was mad - we had 10-12 inches here by Mon morning. Our neighbour had to take someone to Heathrow on Monday - took 2.5 hours (vs our 20 mins) and most flights were cancelled. You'll be glad to know Anna and I held back from taking the X3 for a spin in the snow....and stuggled with 2wd!
Thanks so much for Anna's fab birthday pressies - she is reall chuffed and we look forward to fixing you some fab lattes when you are back.
Lots of love
Stu & Anna xx

Can someone please tell Nigel to stop with the 'Alriiiight' (said with an American accent) which he has suddenly started using whenever food is placed in front of him or when he wins (seldomly) in the casino.
Its just so wrong!
Nige
SD: thanks for the update. Weather sounds atrocious back home. 20C and sun in Vegas today.
Chazza: thanks. nice to hear from you!
I&M: we are having such a great time. Miss you 2 too!

Hi Crispin and Mimi
We are having a great time, thanks. (apart from losing in the casino today).
Shamu did some good tricks and soaked the crowd.
We heard about the snow. Did you make a snowman? Did dad go to work?
I hope you enjoy the skiing and have lots of snow there too! Let us know how it was.
Love Nige and Annelise

There is no doubt that you will definitely remember your 40th with all the action packed into just one day, superb. Christmas may have been and gone however weather conditions throughout UK and Ireland are covered with the white stuff - 1.2 UK workers didn't show for work earlier this week and UK lost £1.2bn in productivity!! The usual excuses: motorways gridlocked and flights cancelled; let's hope all those travelling for Ireland v France in Croke Park for 6 nations rugger this weekend make it, at least for the Guinness! Enjoy the sunshine and that new found feeling of freedom xx
Chazza
Arse. Only just found this blog address and therefore birthday message is woefully late, but hey, at least you had your gift ahead of time! Who needs helicopter rides to the Grand Canyon and Elton John when you've got a Wonderwoman coaster? Classy or what.
Sounds like you're having an incredible time - loving the blog; well done Nige!
