Nadeane has to wait another half a day this year for her birthday because of the time differences! Just posted some photos of our daredevil activities over the past week. The first one is "Death Road" in bolivia where our group descended 3000 metres over 64 kilometres of dirt road. Rode through some waterfalls and alongside the cliftops and the scenery was amazing as most of the time we just had to coast downhill and enjoy the view. Yesterday (4th) we did whitewater rafting which was great fun and a welcome relief from the hot weather. Following this we tried our luck at Canopy, where we got to glide along steel cables that are 150 metres high and stretching over 300 metres across the canyon. The next couple of days will be spent travelling to Iguazu falls on the Argentina/Brazil border, so poor Nadeane will have to spend her birthday on the bus.
Talk to you from Brazil!

Only Nadeane could get lost on the Inca Trail! We try to split the writing on the website but i get bored first and can only get 2 sentences out so Nadeane fills in the details!
Stan & Marg
I see you two are having a good time and I like the way dean's showing affection and eating his lunch so he could go and look for you on a full stomach, ( he learnt that from me) . Who does all the writing on the postcards?
Cheers Dad and marg

Hi Deans, finally had a chance to check out your website. Awesome photos. You two will have a great collection of photos when you return - along with the many memories. Sounds like you are both having a fantastic time. Can't wait to see more photos and read my adventure stories from your trip. Nadeane - I can't believe you managed to miss the lunch tent and kept walking... classic!!! Not much happening. Very hot and very busy at work - arrggghhh - I wish I was with you two. Trying to organise wedding in Fiji for October - a few dramas though - keep you posted. Take care. Love Trina and Steve

Bula! Its good to see that you are both having such a great time, and you still have a very long time to go before youre back to reality you lucky ducks! Its looks like you have been to a lot of very interesting places and while the pics looks great , im sure they dont do them justice!! We got back from Fiji a few days ago and after staying on an island full of 5 star resorts, the thought of what you endured with no ammenities is very scary (better you than us!). You will be so fit by the time you get back!!! We cant wait to hear more about your trip and look forward to lots more pics with goofy captions! Take care and speak to you soon xox
PS. If you ever go to Fiji the only word you need to know is Bula, and you will be sick of that word by the time you get back , beeeeelieve us! hahaha :-)

Hi everyone, just a quick note to let you know that we have survived the Inca trail and are just waiing for our train to take us from Aguas Calientes back to Cusco. And wouldn´t you know it - there is a internet cafe here!!
The trail was fantastic - quite hard but so worth it. Our muscles are soooo sore and we are dying to have a hot shower - it has been 4 days and 44 kms of hiking!!! Gotta go train is coming - we´ll post our photos once back in Cusco.
See ya!!

Hey guys, I know I'm slack I have only just logged on but you guys look like you are having a sensational time. Love the red beanie guys thats hilarious!!! And whats the mummies and skulls - aren't they supposed to be like wrapped up in bandages or something! Well baby is getting big or is it that I am just getting fat - one of the two. We had our first ultrasound and everything is hunky dory - will find out the sex in a couple of weeks and will let you know when we know. Tahlia's favourite word is still 'No' and I am really over it now!!!!! She really has to come up with another word cause answering 'No' to everything is getting really boring. Other than that things are just cruising along. Having dinner with Shell and Cass on Friday which will be nice haven't seen them all year ha ha!! Well babe hope you continue to have such a fantastic time and chat to you soon. Lots of love, Bec, Pete and Tahlia xoxox
