The flight over was 12 and half hours, we all slept for about 4 hours except Chris who says Nicole woke him as soon as he got to sleep. Missed the first bus to our hotel so waited half an hour for the next one. HOT! Got to our hotel (Anabella Hotel in Anaheim), at about 3pm. Today we went to Universal Studios!! Another huge day with everyone asleep in the bus on the way home. Today was fantastic, the Simpsons ride was amazing, it is a simulator and oh my gosh was it incredible. Our bus driver made a long bus ride feel even longer--- what a pain, although very friendly. We have been amazed to find that everyone over here is incredible polite and friendly, not pushy at all. There are however some incredibly large americans. And boy ...

Hi all, here is our first update. We had a long plane trip with no one sleeping a lot, who said kids can sleep anywhere. All went very eventless though, the plane stayed in the sky. We arrived at our hotel at 3pm and spent the rest of the day at the pool. Rebecca had a bad case of jet lag that night and her and i managed to still be reading at 12.30am! Arrived at the airport early!! Not sure how this happened as we are never early. The kids are outside playing with a ball to help get rid of some energy before the long flight. Nana came with us on the plane to Christchurch to help Janelle try to get Adam to sleep! We met Janelle and Adam at the airport and they stayed for a play until we left. We only had a very short wait in Auckland where we didnt find anything exciting to buy!!

Getting ready to go on our big holiday!! Haircuts all round, well overdue. We are getting excited and nervous now but still havent started packing yet. Only five sleeps to go.
