This next chapter of India is the one where we let ourselves be driven around in an air conditioned car for 10 days by a professional driver who will take us through the "Golden Triangle" tourist route of Delhi/Agra/Jaipur, as well as some other stops in the state of Rajasthan. After initially thinking we would figure out all of this on our own, we decided back in Tamil Nadu that this would be the time where we would let someone else plan the itineraries for us. We love being the planners, but for now our time is scheduled by people who know better than us, and we are excited by this!
Only one full day in Delhi, and in hindsight probably not enough, but we sure did cram a lot of sights into one day. And in fact, every sight was spectacular. We particularly enjoyed Humayun's Tomb, otherwise known as the, "Mini Taj", on account of the structure being similar to the great one, which we will visit shortly in Agra. We have loved the archways and carvings of all of the Indo-Islamic architecture - definitely the most impressive stop on our journey through India so far. Go, Delhi! Sorry we rushed you.
