We thought we'd start this blog before we set off on our travels. We are planning to go to Austalia on 25 December 2012, and realised today that we can book our flights! We are going in to STA in Cambridge on Wednesday to finalise our plans and book everything. To say we're excited is a massive understatement...we have been going into STA once a month since last September, trying to book it. Everyone is getting annoyed with us on BBM as we've been counting down for a good few months now...only 7 months and 19 days to go now!

We are planning on travelling up the East Coast. Starting in Melbourne and slowly working our way up to Cairns over the course of three months. We are then planning on flying to Singapore and Bali to enjoy a month or so in complete luxury, as Ellie - one half of the duo - has a lot of contacts out there, including some man who is head of the Asian bank. Hello free accomodation!

I - Becci, the other half of the duo - am already getting upset at the thought that this time in a year, I'll be back from travelling. Such an optimistic outlook. But I also know that I will have so many memories with my best friend, and cannot wait!

We'll keep you updated with our plans and everything. We're into lots of crazy stuff, and are planning to cross at least half of the things off our bucket list. Bring. It. On.
