Today we visited the SnowKing Ice Castle out on Great Slave lake. Was a beautiful day for it, just above zero, just a bit overcast but a great day to be outside. The castle is pretty cool. we made sure to see it a bit earlier this year and there was still some good carvings and sculptures around to see. Simply put: we have tickets from Yellowknife to Edmonton, then we're "last minute deal"-ing it from there! :)Tina and I will be partaking in a 10 day vacation without the lil ladies! We do LOVE traveling with them, but after our 3 week excursion around Austria and Italy, we think we're due! Grandma and Grandpa K2 will be holding down the fort and spoiling Ms. Mia & Ms. Kaylie!
