On Thursday we made our way to Canberra from Pambula, after a very windy and hilly drive through the snowy mountains we made it to Canberra and it was lovely, definitely worth the drive. It was very clean and open. We visited the Parliament House and the Australian war memorial which was very educational but we definitely needed some more time to look around as there was so much to see. Yesterday consisted of a lot of driving, around 6 hours worth. It was our first night at a caravan park and our first time trying to set up the awning, I have sworn to never try to use it ever again! That is defiantly going to be Glenn's job from now on. But apart from that we had a good night, the caravan park was lovely and the beach was beautiful. We will definitely stop and spend some more time there on the way home at Christmas time, Today we are heading to ...

Night one in the van was a success, everything is set up and ready to go. Had a lovely tea at my Aunt and Uncles then had an early night ready to get up and head off along the coastline to Pambula which is about 5 and a half hours away from where we are now in yarragon, So far the traffic hasn't been too bad and we haven't got lost yet :)

It's finally time to start our big adventure. Thank you to my amazing family's for all of your help with getting us here. I'm so lucky and grateful to have been brought up in such a close family and there's no doubt I'm going to miss you all so much every single day but we'll see you all again soon and talk every day (mostly about how hot it is on the mainland ;)) love you all more than anything

So we've finally brought ourselves a caravan and are starting our adventure around Australia as of the 22nd of June. First stop is Byron Bay with a few overnight stops on the way. looking forward to being able to share lots of photos and to keep everyone up to date with where we are. Stay tuned :)
