From Montreal we bused up to Quebec City where we stayed for 2 nights in the heart of old Quebec City. Quebec was a really beautiful place!! Beautiful cathedrals, cobbled streets, french cafes, horse and carriages, castle type buildings and lots of history. Here we toured the streets on foot and ate gorgeous crepes in cosy cafes. We did a tour of the Citadel, which was built back in the early 1800's as a millitary post to protect the city from invasion. Today it is still an active millitary post and was very interesting to get the history behind the place. After visiting places like this, it is amazing to think of how advanced people were back in the early ages when Australia had not even been discovered yet! Beautiful, beautiful place!!!
