I sent you an e-mail to your yahoo address. When you have a minute will you please check it and write back?
I am so glad you are enjoying Africa. I have tried to call you on 2 different days and each time I am getting a busy signal. I don't know if there is something wrong with the international lines or if your telephone at the house is busy in the evenings. I wrote the # down as 011 255 732 744188. Is this the correct #?
I sent you a letter last week. Did you get it yet? I sent it international first class mail so I hope it arrives soon.
Please keep sharing your daily adventures as I love reading about what you have been doing.
Miss you and I sure wish I was with you so we could hike Mt. Kili together.
Love to you!
PS: You won't get Aids from a little peck, but don't be swapping spit with the Africans. Aids is passed on by bodily fluids such as saliva, semen, etc. That was good of you to run. I would have done the same

okay sorry I am always posting stuff on here.
I just got back from San Francisco with dad and we had a blast.... we went to this thing called the Lovefest which was pretty much this gay pride parade and there were people just running around COMPLETELY naked and dancing it was crazzzzyyyy hhaaa. Oh and I got my nose pierced in Haight Ashbury!!! it's a hoop... it looks good.
Africa sounds amazing, I wish I was there to see the kids. I can only imagine how adorable they are. You sound like your really living it up. I am happy for you. Keep having a blast. I love you and miss you and i'll tell ben that you want him to get him a facebook. Oh by the way I might get a job at the Human Bean with Ben :]

Mom Again!
Hi, it's me again! I MISS YOU. I watched the Vice Presidential debate up at UNR last night which was fun. Palin and Biden going at it was quite interesting. I've hung an OBAMA poster in our window near the front door which is causing great havoc at home with Dad. Haley and I are enjoying great conversations regarding the candidates. Have you inquired about absentee ballot for NV? Tara, go on silverstate08.com for more info if you want to vote while you're away. Haley and Dad are en route to San Francisco right now for the weekend. I've been pulling 1:30 and 2:30 AM study nights this week at home for this horrific course. Now I truly know how you feel from intense lack of sleep when you're in school. I've become somewhat of a walking zombie because of it. Did you climb Mt. Kili for a day yet? What's been happening? I long to hear your stories. PLEASE BLOG US ALL. I anxiously await more adventures. Be safe. I love you, Mom
Mom
Dear Tara,
Sending you love. MISS YOU.... BIG HUGS & KISSES. I'm running the Race for the Cure this Sunday. Wish me luck and endurance. Isn't running in Africa spectacular? Tell me about the coffee plantation, waterfall, and caves you saw this week PLEASE. Vicariously, through your stories, I can be there too! I love you, Mom
P.S. Did you see the Cornell msg I emailed you re: SHIP? Please respond when you can directly to them.
Haley

Hey Chicklet: I am so glad that you are enjoying Africa. I knew once you saw the little kids, tasted a few Africa libations and meet some people it would be a wonderful experience for you. Of course, they wanted you to marry one of the boys. You are gorgeous! I am so glad you are running with someone in the morning. Great way to start your day and see the sun rise. I think the African sunrise and sunset are very pretty. Since you are going on a safari with a group of people over the weekend I will try and call you the beginning of next week. Take lots of photos on the safari and I hope you hear the lions roaring at night. It is amazing to hear that. I am glad the kids like the pencils. You will have strong hands from sharpening all of the pencils . Try playing Simon Says, Duck Duck Goose or Follow the Leader with the kids. Miss and love you lots!
PS: If you want, Rob and I will pay for your safari trip.
Mom
Hi Tara! I miss you and wish we could talk. I can't wait to hear more adventure stories. It seems so difficult with the time difference. I'm so sorry I couldn't call you Wednesday as I was in multiple appointments with Haley most of the day when you texted me to call you within 30 minutes. Also, I'm afraid it may be quite expensive to "just call" internationally. Perhaps you can blog me or Skype us all. We've been waiting to see your pretty face! On Thursday, Sept. 25, we'll be home until 5 pm our time, gone from 5-8 pm, and then home rest of our night. Maybe you could skype us in the way EARLY morning of your day as it'll be late afternoon here. Are your afternoons free from teaching? Your noon would be 10 pm here and we'd be up. See what works for you. I would love to talk ASAP. I can't wait to hear all about your days -- I keep checking your travel blog ... ENJOY and be safe. I love you, Mom

Hey There Chicklet: Sounds like a great day! Glad you are experiencing so much. $4 for skirts is a great deal. I am sure they are very colorful. It is very common for the locals to try and sell you stuff. Sometimes you do have to almost be a bit rude or they won't leave you alone. The ZOO sounds like a fun place. Enjoy the Kilimanjaro beer, but don't consume so much that you can't find your way home So you already found the cute babies. They seem to be everywhere don't they? I really liked this little girl Zena that we met when we were in Botswana and I wanted to bring her home. She did have a family so taking her would not have been very nice for experience for her. How is the teaching going? Give the kids lots of love as I am sure they are enjoying getting to know you. How are the other people in the program? Any cute guys? Hugs and lots of love to you! Miss you chicka.
