Hi Jo & Tom
Excellent website. Look forward with interest to see more of your travels.

Tom, 8th member for this year's CBC golf tour will be Ian Tudor from RBS Winchester. Most likely venue is Richmond Park, near Norwich. Going later this time as Amie's baby is due September so Shaun is in a panic!! Can you organise new polo shirts for this year? Just cos you are on a world tour, it does not mean you are excused from your CBC obligations!! Hope things are going well and no doubt you will miss the event that is Martin's tee shot on the first!! All the best.

Glad to see your progressing well through South East Asia. I'm sure your spreading the good word, enlightening ancient tribes with modern farming tips.... Tractors work best on the flat than on steps? Sorry to hear you haven't had the chance to have a rest on a beach yet !! Rach was just saying that between sight seeing and visiting one place after another, she hopes you get to spend some quality time with each other.
Keep your heads down!
Tom
Mum, i'm getting your e-mails fine just can't be bothered to reply!!!! Only joking, we are on the move tomorrow hopefully heading 12 hours south to Hue where we might actually find a beach of some kind. We were meant to go tonight but Jo's feeling pretty rough so we've had to postpone. Just got back from Sapa which is pretty close to the Chinese border, a small town right in the mountains. It was like living in a cloud for 2 days, you couldn't see morethan 50 yards in front of you. However, we wentfor a trek down into the valley to visit some hill tribe villages and it was like another world when the cloud cleared. All the rice paddys had been carvedionto the side of the hills over 100s of years which was more a work of art than a farming technique. The guide for the day was actually from one of the tribes so we learnt loads! I'm off now, bye bye.

Tom can you just confirm that you are receiving my e-mails ok! love to you both xxxxx

Hi everyone who logs in and reads this, just to let you know he head for the hills of Northern Vietnam tonight to a place called Sapa which is right on the Chinese border. Should be pretty cold but the scenery is meant to be amazing!! After that we head south to try and find a bit of sunshine again and maybe some well earned beach time. We look forward to your messages. Take care of yourselves.
Barbara & Roy
Hi you intrepid travellers, makes our week-end in London seem quite tame. Well on the Friday evening we went to see Phantom of the Opera, very good and Roy liked all that was going on with the scenery!! On the Saturday we went to an excellent Greek taverna where they smashed the plates and there was a belly dancer, a really great evening did not get back to the hotel until 2.00p.m. On the Sunday we went to Greenwich on the Docklands Light Railway and back on a boat on the Thames, lovely and calm, hope your boat ride is as calm. Then Monday we finally got to Kensal Green Cemetry, I expect you are wondering why, well Roy is giving a talk on Isambard Kingdom Brunel as its 200 years this year since he was born and he is buried in the cementry. We arrived and had to ask someone where the grave was and found our way. There are some very interesting graves in the cemetry if you like that sort of thing!! Went up to Allisons last weekend to look after Molly & Thomas as Allison & Neil has tickets to see Bolton play Arsenal. Well you sound as though you are having a great time seeing lots of interesting things and meeting some interesting people. Bye for now.
