Hey all sorry we haven't made an entry for so long everythings been so hectic, last week in Perth and hitting the east coast. Everything so far has been awesome, we travelled up the west coast at christmas on our break off work and saw some amazing places - Monkey Mia, Coral bay. To get there we had to travel for miles through absolutely nothing but well worth it and all in our trusty camper - preparation for the east coast and nz!!!
Then we went down the west coast to albany for a few days with a few friends! saw some amazing places- the southern most tip of oz! very scary lookin over the edge i must say! then sadly back to work for the last 3 weeks! we managed to mark the last day of work with a monumental hangover, thanks to a rather large bottle of vodka b4! finishing it in style our manager liked to say, i still dont think tams even remembers the trip to work! ha ha!
then came the last week in perth staying with callums best mate andy in his new pad, we marked the house warming with a huge all day session on oz day which i am told is tradition!! and ended up fully clothed in the pool! good times had by all im sure. That is apart from andys mobile phone which was in his pocket! sorry again about pushing u in mate! Thanks andy and jen for letting us stay.....
and that was pretty much the end of an increadable time at our adopted home perth! id like to thank all for an amazing time! so many laughs and memories, one cannot say thank you enough!!!
and then onto the east coast!!
after a short stay in brisbane with on old friend! one cameron leeder and his alter ego charlie (who tends to show his face after about 5 or so pints!), thanks again camo and chantal for your amazing hospitality during our stay with you and showing us the sights.... lookouts, nice restaurants, not forgtetting the brisbane peep show!!!
and then off to noosa, a truly beautifull place and amazing beach! the pics say everthing! after that came harvey bay and fraser island- out of this world i must say! a rainforrest on an island of sand, filled with crystal clear freshwater lakes! a must see b4 you die! incredible!
and then onto arlie beach, home of the whitsunday islands and the great barrier reef! the only problem was that from around 200 km out it started raining and once we passed a large number of ozzie gents fishing off the side of the road into a field, alarm bells should of been going off!!! the rain was non stop and once we arrived and asked the young fellow at the tourist info office when it was due to stop raining, (expecting an answer like tomorro or the day after) he replyed in about 2 weeks! ha ha... oh my life oz is an odd country! fire down at the botton and floods up north...madness!
so that brought a sad and wet end to our trip up north and headed back down south!
next stop surfers paradise, a very americanized place but amazing none the less! we hit the town on our last night an true monkey and tams style, after being asked to leave one pub due to slight tipsyness shal we say on callum's part and ended with tams being slightly ill out of the window of the camper! your only young once i tell myself!!!
and off to byron bay, where tams basked in the beautifull sunshine while callum truly turned on the style in the rather large waves on a rather bunkey rented board!! after a few near death experiances he threw in the towel!
Miss you all loads keep the messages coming.... Lots of love tams and cal x x xx
