Ah, the top. I sat down here and drew this scene. Was as moved as the harpist sitting in front of me, and he certainly added to the mood. My hairs were standing on end, so alive, breeze going through my hair. While I drew people looked over my shoulder as though I were part of the scenery and I think I'm in a few people's pictures as well, but I was pretty oblivious. It was a normal thing to see people sitting and drawing/painting all over in Italy. The arts are held in much higher esteem than they are here. The artists, like good food and wine, appreciating life, and taking care of one another are all an essential part of their lives there. While most places are not wheelchair accessible, you never saw a disabled person without a helper at their side.
