Days 1 and 2 have been spent in the bustling city of Ho Chi Minh! What a crazy place! So many people on the go at once.. I love it. We re-energized yesterday after going to Ben Thanh market quickly, a short walk from our hotel. We visited there again today after seeing the Notre Dame cathedral, the General Post Office and the Historical museum. Ate some traditional Vietnamese pastries and sampled local beer, loving it! First stop before Ho Chi Minh city.. Singapore airport always looks immaculate! We are pretty weary but manage to stay awake, knowing we will be in Vietnam soon enough :)

My evening starts out with a flight to Perth from Albany.. Then onwards to Singapore and Ho Chi Minh city for the start of our Vietnam adventure! Late night coffee and hot chocolate has got dad and me through the past few hours :) bring on the next 8 hours, cannot wait!
