After arriving in Fukuoka, it took me 40 minutes to get through passport control. This was all due to the fact that I didn't have a detailed schedule of my exact whereabouts and if not for the fact that Rosie was studying in Japan (the info immigration had to look up to make sure I wasn't a liar), I would have been deported. Never try speak a language you under stand little about, because it almost rewarded me with a strip search.
The bus was packed with Japanese people with a bag at their feet and one on everybody's lap it was quite a tight fit. Luckily found the hotel easy enough. Ended with me suppose to me Rosie at 09:30 on the Saturday, but instead oversleeping and getting a call from Rosie at 09:45 to hear where I am.
Planning on going to Mt. Aso tomorrow, so will hopefully have some photos on soon.
