Granny Beckett and Granny Ray have been out shopping today, Granny B got 2 new tops - Gosh Hannah think what damage they could do if they were spending rupees in India!!!!LOL (not sure they would be much good on camels though!!!!).

hey everyone thanks again for all the messages!! though i'd write a quick message as we don't really have time to update the journal and the computers are so slow here!! we are now on 4th day of our trip and because of the shortened camel safari spent last night in a heritage hotel and are now in jodphur to do the fort....then camel safari starts 2moro for just one night then we're back on track! hope that answers your question mark!! hotels are pretty cheap overall, everything is! had a meal for just 40 rupees in delhi which was lovely (about 50p!) and yday met lots of village children on our jeep safari who were amazing and don't see many tourists so was fascinating!! we will update the journal and hopefully photos as soon as we have time, love to you all and happy new year!!

Just reading your previous messages and trip dossier for the Rajasthan Safari and need to know a few things. If your hotel room is a delux twin with bathroom yet has no windows whats the cheapest room in the hotel like? Is day one of the itinerary actually day one or day two? If it is day one then i hope the introductory briefing went ok but if it is day two then i hope the tour of Delhi was a little less manic than your previous few days. Finally, how many photos have you taken?? We hope you both have a fantastic safari and that Hannahi did not wish she had taken Bobbas padded shorts after all. Love M&J
