Friday 5th December - Belair National Park - Adelaide We had a big day planned - art shop, BMW shop, visit Mal's old Adelaide locations of interest and possibly catch up with Mal's friend Harie Lam. Mal woke early and did a lap of the local Koala haunts - one had fled and the other just changed location in the tree. Sunday 7th December Cool overcast morning with the threat of rain. After Mal posted his previous BLOG it was back to camp for a cup of tea and a slow and steady pack up - today was Kangaroo Island day - sort of like a low level holy grail. Wednesday 3rd December The storm had passed and we had one last day at Innes NP before we had to pack for Adelaide - how time pushes on and we want it to leave us behind. We finally got down to visit the wreck of the Ethel - her poor sad remains rusting away on the beach - the surf rolling in and the sunshine bringing out the cool greens and pale blues of the ocean. Sunday 30th November - Port Hughes to Innes National Park We had a smooth run down through York Peninsula even if the day was warm to start with. We made a few minor stops, but really only the stop at Minalton was of any duration - there we saw the Red Devil, a plane flown in the first war by a local hero. The plane is in its own museum which was constructed in 1958 from memory. Guess it is good to have a local hero, where as the one teenaged girl at the tow...

Hot day yesterday - here we are in Port Hughes - beautiful walk on the beach yesterday afternoon and we enjoyed the pier with the fisher folk as the sun put on quite a display. Today we are heading of Innis Park National Park on the Southern tip of York Peninsula - hopefully a bit cooler today.
