Hi guys, this sounds amazing. We love the photos of the pandas, and were very amused at Dan being offered so many delicacies on the train. Why didn't they offer you anything, Sue? I'm sure you would have done it all justice (not!) Half way through your travels, it doesn't seem possible, look forward to talking to you again soon xx

Loving the blog, your descriptions are so detailed we feel we're on the trip with you but without the uncomfortable bits. We are brilliant armchair travellers, us! Your research must have been extensive to discover so many fantastic places relatively untouched by the likes of us. Hope you continue to have a fantastic time exploring the big wide world and look forward to hearing about it first hand when you finally get back! Lots of love xxx

Mummy Speirs thank you for my mini Buddha, he's great and always makes me smile. He has taken up permanent residence in my car and accompanies on all my journeys. I rub his belly for luck before every work meeting I do. I will take him on all future global adventures and will take good care of him. S&D China looks great (apart from the rain), glad to see there are new entries into the International Hand Gestures Guide!!
Stay safe, much love x

Wow guys your experience in Viet Nam sounds like the best so far by a long way... will you be going back next year??? I admire your skill in dealing with the people trying to sell you things - I'm an absolute mug and always (1) made sure I rationed my money when going out in any Caribbean island and (2) spent all my ration within the first few minutes! Hey ho. Enjoy China, any decisions yet about the Japanese part of the trip? xx
Belly
Hello pied piper travellers - love the image of the 'followers' tagging along with you and then bumping into you when you stop - can't see how that would be annoying....!! Another amazing blog update and leg of your travels.
Nutts, if it cheers you up it is 'Nam week in Asda, I bought a goat today.

Noble travellers Sapa looks amazing and glad you managed to 'chillax' in Hanoi after I left you. The whole Nam experience has had rather a profound affect on me. The food in the UK seems totally tasteless and bland, I forgot how expensive it is back here, even the beer seems tasteless. In addition, being back at work for 2 weeks has been really tough. I've got an annoying cough too which I've had for 2 weeks, probably malaria, pleurisy or bronchitis (or depression!). You sound like you were harrassed like mad in Sapa, did Dan unwittingly unleash his 'walking hand' gesture which was taken literally by the persistant sellers? I hate sales people! Mummy S i've sat by the letter box for days (not really) awaiting something to cheer me up! Please don't go to any trouble though. I really miss my travelling chums, it's so weird being back. Stay safe guys and I want some hand gesture updates to cheer me up please x PS Suzy Wong from Hong Kong said to say Hi! Chink chink!

Chris having trouble getting little gift but have not forgotten. Where are you anyway? Just because you are now a well known ghost writer does`nt mean you can neglect your fans. More of the same please Sue and Dan. Lesley the Firth of Clyde awaits you. Will try to make it a bit calmer next time. x x x

Wow it all looks so good. Wish we could be there! Your boat trip looks particularly lovely, and so glad you had some good companions for the first part of it. Mike and Stacey are here at the moment, will try to get hold of you on Skype for a quick chat xxx

Wow , wow , wow ! Its all looking fabulous. Its no good -jealousy is reaching unacceptable levels!! We are of course jealous of Sue , Dan and Nuts -not you lot on your Asda photo shoots! I am very much looking forward to seeing Aunty Ma in her Asda uniform and fascinator- will probably look better than the two 'ugly sisters' that attented that other wedding this weekend! Why was that Princess wearing antlers on her head?! We are also rather hoping that Nuts' 'baby' won't be wearing a fascinator at the wedding!
Love to you all

So sorry to see the Ghost Writer go - but looking forward to meeting him in the flesh! It all sounds wonderful, apart from the bus trip and the toilets - a trip from hell, truly!
We had a great weekend with John and Bernadette, got tossed around on the Firth of Clyde in a boat when the wind got up, then the next day 'stalked' a wedding couple from Luss to Cameron House! Found out some good stuff, looking forward to next Easter!
